Today I went to experience a Darsha with Mother Meera. A woman from India who exudes love. It was an amazing experience to just sit in stillness and silence for an hour. I connected with the room and at the beginning saw a little bit of light near the front of the room. After several rows had received their Darsha, I saw more light. I could feel the love in the room and asked to be open to it. It was all above us – everyone in that entire room. As more and more people went the light got thicker. When it was my turn, I did not know what to expect. When Mother first looked in my eyes, I felt uncertainty as it looked like she was tired and not really wanting to be doing this. But, then I let it in. What amazed me the most was the fact that so many people came together simply wanting a blessing, wanting love and compassion, wanting to change their life. I could feel the pain, the grief, the sadness in the room; some people needing a lift-up, some just wanting to feel what Mother could do. I wasn’t sure what happened for me afterward, but I do know I felt a lightness in my heart. My heart opened up and let in compassion. Love and compassion to give to others, just as Mother Meera did. And I feel how easy this can be if I simply allow it.
